Matthew is currently single but has one precious child: his beloved dog, Patsy Cline who loves meeting new people and who often accompanies Matthew on the road. Matthew loves to read history and still wants to live in alaska as a recluse. He confesses to having a poor sense of direction (which comes in handy for someone who travels), thinks mapquest is a great thing, is a pack rat who never cooks, has horrible eating habits and likes sugar more than he likes most people. Matthew is a jack of all trades and has had many other jobs, including: making chocolate, landscaping, teaching comedy traffic school in southern California, making t-shirts and working for Critter Sitters with Shawn Mullins. Music is his longest lasting job and he thinks it is the one that has proven to be closest to what he is meant to do.
